Low Moisture Apples are prepared from fresh and properly (Granny Smith and Red Delicious) apples, which have been washed, peeled, cored, sorted, trimmed, cut to desired size, and properly dried. The production, package and deliver are made under strict sanitary conditions to guarantee a product which is in complete compliance with the FDA as well as the European Union and other international food laws and regulation. Our products are circle K Kosher certified.

3.5% maximum (determined by Vaccuum Oven method at 70º for 6 hours).
SULPHUR DIOXIDE (SO2)
Both Unsulphured and 100 ppm maximum
COLOR
Tan to light brown for unsulfured products, light yellow to white for sulfured products.
RECONSITUTION RATIO
Low Moisture Apples will generally require between 5-7 parts water (by weight) to 1 part apple to fully reconstitute the product.
DEFECTS
Shall be free of any defects.
STALK
One stalk in 200g, maximum.
SEEDS
One seed in 200g, maximum.
FOREIGN MATERIAL
Shall be free of all substances degrading the physical characteristics or hazardous to human consumption.
MICROBIOLOGICAL PROPERTIES
Microorganisms that can cause food intoxication or food poisoning in humans shall be absent.

PACKAGING AND SHIPPING CONDITIONS
Product is packed in corrugated export cartons with double sealed high density (100 micron) polyethylene bags inside.
The product shall be transported in dry conditions in palletized containers of 20’, 40’ and 40’HC.
