Frozen cherries are packed from sound, properly ripened fruit
which has been washed, sorted, and screened to a uniform, medium
fruit size. The process includes a hydro-cooling system to preserve
the firm texture of the cherry. All fruit is harvested, processed,
and placed in a freezer within 16 hours. The fruit is inspected
throughout the entire process to assure a clean, wholesome product
which is in complete compliance with good manufacturing practices
and the provisions of the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act.
COLOR
Uniformly bright red. Typically, Washington State Tart Cherries
